The Alternative to the DEKRA Battery Test

Quick and No Vehicle Movement Required
For situations where a physical test drive is not feasible due to space constraints or safety regulations, we offer a fast and practical solution: the Read-Out Report for high-voltage batteries.
This method provides a fast indication of an EV battery’s health without requiring a physical test drive.

How Does It Work?

The Read-Out Report is a static procedure, meaning the vehicle stays in place. It extracts crucial battery insights directly from the BMS, including:
  • Battery voltage – Understand the current power status.
  • Cell temperature & cell voltage – Key indicators of battery efficiency.
  • State of Charge (SoC) – The available energy level in the battery.
  • State of Health (SoH) – The information of the Battery Management System.
Note: DEKRA does not calculate or alter these values but verifies them whenever possible.
