You will provide coaching and training relating to service contracts products and warranty claims procedures provided by Daimler Truck UK to sales and service team members within the DTUK franchised dealer network.
In addition to the above, you will be specifically responsible for:
· Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of service contracts and warranties
· Dealer profitability – supporting the dealer network development through identification and management of best practice processes
· Remaining compliant with best practice within the truck sector
· Coaching and developing dealers to manage their service contracts and warranty accounts
· Training and coaching sales executives, service advisors and technicians on contract details and service standards
· Monitoring service delivery to ensure compliance with contract terms
· Establishing the most effective methods of training, identifying and closing any knowledge gaps
· Reviewing dealers’ self-audit programmes to support all service contract and warranty accounts
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:
· The skills to coach, mentor and encourage dealer staff
· Ability to communicate professionally and credibly
· An understanding of truck aftersales and customer service
· Conversant with service contract and warranty processes both at Dealer and Manufacturer level
· Experience of warranty systems
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to thoroughly investigate issues
· Up-to-date vehicle technical knowledge would be beneficial

As our Used Car Area Sales Manager, you will assume responsibility for developing and improving used car department sales volume and a number of sales quality measures across approximately 25 retailers.
You will improve the professionalism and performance of retailer’s used car departments by working closely with the Management team onsite and Brand field teams.

• Build strong relationships with retailers and field team colleagues to promote used car sales and meet sales and quality objectives.

• Assess stock profile, including acquisition channels, stock age policies, and alignment with customer demand.

• Monitor marketing spend, advertising channels, and content effectiveness.
• Review team structure, role responsibilities, training needs, and inter-department collaboration.

• Use a risk-based approach to schedule retailer visits, prioritising those with the greatest improvement opportunities.
• Provide concise visit reports and SMART action plans, sharing insights with the Audi National Used Car Manager and Programme Manager.
• Ensure high standards of customer service for used car buyers, in line with new car customer experience.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance satisfaction and sales quality.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with Approved Used Dealer Agreement standards.

Vehicle Inspection Engineer – About the role:

You will respond to instructions from our Stokenchurch based deployment centre that will arrange appointments on your behalf, broadly within your geographic region.
There are several types of inspections covering such activities as pre purchase inspections, warranty evaluations, mechanical defeats and audits.
In addition to this as our Vehicle Inspection Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Representing DEKRA Automotive Limited delivering vehicle inspections at the clients’ address.
- Completing and delivering inspection reports after each visit.
- Supporting the Operations Manager in piloting new initiatives or programmes.
- Completing cosmetic vehicle inspections of bodywork condition, identifying substandard repairs.
- Completing and delivering OEM dealer audit assessments reports.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Proven mechanical experience in formal vehicle maintenance, servicing or MOT.
- Desired however not essential A City & Guilds Level 3 or an NVW Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance.
- Preferably a member of the IMI (Institute of Motor Industry) or IRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers).
- Strong team working skills with the ability to contribute to the development of new procedures to improve the performance of the business.

About the Technical Warranty Assessor Role:

· Experience in roles such as vehicle technician, workshop controller, or warranty specialist would be highly beneficial
· Good PC skills in Word, Excel, and Access

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The core responsibilities of this role representing DEKRA Automotive Limited are to deliver an outstanding customer experience, an exceptional inspection standard and present an extremely professional report.
• To represent DEKRA Automotive Limited delivering vehicle inspections at the clients’ address as directed by our office-based deployment team
• Complete and deliver inspection reports after each visit in accordance with the company’s templates and reporting guidelines. All reports must be legible, timely and free from any ambiguity
• To support the Operations Manager in piloting new initiatives or programmes for customers exercising reasonable flexibility if required to travel outside your designated geographic territory
Knowledge, Experience & Qualification:
• Two years previous experience in formal vehicle maintenance, servicing or MOT
• City & City Level 3 or an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
• Preferably be a member of the IMI or IRTE
• Onboard with DEKRA via a LTD company or Umbrella Company
• Meet DEKRA minimum insurance requirements
• Hold Motor Trade Road Risk insurance
You must also be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
